Magazines, newspapers, and stacks of paper also create ideal conditions for bedbugs to nest. When piled up and left undisturbed, these materials offer plenty of crevices for bedbugs to hide and lay eggs. Checking bookshelves, flipping through pages, and freezing infested books for at least 48 hours can help eliminate any hidden pests.
