Use Tea Tree Oil To Clean Your Shower Area
Tea tree oil is an important essential oil to have around your home, especially for cleaning purposes. It is especially great to get rid of any shower soap and mildew that may build up from time to time.
To make a mixture with tea tree oil, all you have to do is mix two cups of distilled white vinegar with two teaspoons of liquid dish soap. Remember, the soap needs to be non-castile based. Then, add 20 drops of tea tree oil to a spray bottle and liberally use this mixture in your shower area every day, especially after you use it.
Use Eucalyptus Oil To Clean Brushes
When was the last time you disinfected the hair tools lying around your home? We understand that cleaning the hair out of hairbrushes and combs can feel annoying, but not with eucalyptus oil.
All you have to do is mix one and a half a cup of water with half a cup of white vinegar and 20 drops of eucalyptus oil. Use this mixture on your brushes and combs and allow it to soak for 20 minutes. Once enough time has passed, rinse the brushes and allow them to air dry.
Use Orange Oil To Remove Gum
Have you ever gotten chewing gum stuck on your carpet or other surfaces in your home? If you have, you know very well how hard it is to get rid of.
In this case, orange oil is the best thing to use. It can effectively break out any stickiness, so all you have to do is apply it to the infected area with the help of a cotton ball. This will loosen the stickiness up and save the fabric. Don’t worry; you won’t have to throw your entire carpet out!
Use An Oil Mixture To Clean Stuffed Toys
Kids love their stuffed toys and animals. They will drag them around everywhere, put them in their mouth, sweep them on the floor, and leave them in odd spots. However, cleaning their toys is essential; otherwise, your kids could get sick and may even contract some serious diseases. The best way to do this is when they are not around.
All you have to do is mix two or more tablespoons of baking soda in a bowl along with one drop of tea tree, lavender, and eucalyptus oils. Mix it all up and then put the mixture in a zip lock bag, along with the stuffed toy, and shake it up vigorously. Then, store the ziplock in the freezer for 30 minutes so that it freshens up. After 30 minutes, leave it out to dry. Get ready to give your child a brand-new-looking, clean stuffed toy!
Now that you know which essential oils to use for cleaning, you should be able to get everything in your house cleaned to perfection!
